Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of this website and your dealings with BYB Performance Garage (Back Yard Boys Performance Garage), situated at 24 Kathleen St, Florida, Roodepoort, 1710. By contacting us or using this site you agree to them. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2008.

You can enquire through the contact form on this website, by phone (+27 69 589 1721) or by email (info@bybperformancegarage.com). We aim to respond to website enquiries within one business day.

Every quotation we issue is itemised — parts and labour shown separately — and is prepared from the information available at the time. It is not a binding offer until you approve it and we confirm the booking, and it may change if parts prices or availability change before work starts (we will always tell you before anything changes).

Work only begins after you have approved the quotation. If additional work becomes necessary while a job is in progress, we contact you first and wait for your approval — we never carry out work you have not agreed to.

We accept card, EFT, SnapScan and Zapper. Account facilities are available for approved fleet customers. Invoices are issued on completion and payment is due on collection unless otherwise arranged in advance.

All repair work carries our written workmanship warranty, and fitted parts carry the manufacturer's own warranty. Specific terms are noted on your invoice. The warranty covers the workmanship and parts we supply; it does not cover damage caused by accident, misuse, or work carried out by anyone other than BYB.

Please remove valuables and personal belongings from your vehicle before leaving it with us. Vehicles are cared for at our workshop during the work, but items left in vehicles remain your responsibility. You confirm the vehicle may lawfully be driven and that any work you request is lawful.

The information on this website (including service descriptions and photographs) is provided in good faith for general information and may be updated at any time. It does not form part of any quotation or contract. Images are illustrative.

You may not use this website unlawfully, attempt to disrupt it, or use automated means to submit enquiries or scrape its content. The site's content and branding are our property or used with permission.

We carry out our services with reasonable skill and care. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to direct loss arising from our services and is never greater than the amount you paid for those services. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Gauteng.
